White Fillings & Bonding

White Fillings

Until recently there were no alternatives to having a mouthful of metal!  Although metal amalgam works well as a tooth filling material, it does little to add beauty to your smile. And the larger the silver dental filling, the more noticeable it is.

Thankfully, advancements in modern dentistry have given us new options for dental restoration.  Tooth colored dental fillings are now a great substitute for silver fillings and offer a natural looking alternative.  Moreover, tooth colored fillings can be structured to resemble your real teeth.

Just like any dental procedure, tooth colored dental fillings require excellent dental care to limit wear and tear.  Regular dental visits are necessary to maintain your dental work and to check for signs of further tooth decay.  Or course, with teeth that beautiful, you’ll want to take the best care of them.

Dental Bonding

When you think of a beautiful smile, you probably think of bright, white, straight teeth. With dental bonding, you have one of the easiest, fastest and most affordable cosmetic dental treatments at your disposal. Webster Dental uses dental bonding as a modern method for repairing your stained, cracked or chipped teeth.

Another benefit of dental bonding is the time it saves. Unlike veneers and dental crowns, a dental bonding procedure is performed in our office and generally takes just one visit!

Dental bonding is a process where we attach or “bond” materials directly to your tooth in order to change its color and shape. The natural tooth enamel is then fused together with bonding materials such as porcelain and resins to create a strong structure that looks and feels like your original tooth.

Nonetheless, there are no tricks to caring for your teeth - bonded or not.  Good oral hygiene is all it takes. That means brushing at least twice a day, flossing at least once a day, maintaining a nutritious diet and visiting your dentist regularly.
