Serving the Chicago area for almost 20 years, Downers Grove cosmetic dentist Barbara Webster, DDS, is committed to creating beautiful and healthy smiles. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, she is the youngest of three children. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a B.A. in Zoology in 1982. Barbara Webster received her dental degree from The Ohio State University in 1986, and is very proud of her “Buckeye” heritage. After graduation, Dr. Webster completed a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center, located here in Chicago. She remained an active staff member of the hospital for an additional five years, treating a variety of physically and mentally challenged patients both in the operating room and in the office. Dr. Barbara R. Webster enjoyed private practice in Franklin Park for 18 years before deciding to move her dental practice to Downers Grove, just east of Naperville.

As a dentist in an evolving field, Dr. Barbara R. Webster believes deeply and passionately in the importance of education and continual training. She has invested significantly in her own on-going education by taking hands-on training with some of the leading cosmetic dentists in the United States of America. Dr. Webster views cosmetic dentistry as both an art and a science. Her exacting technique as well as her eye for aesthetics truly set her apart from other dentists. At her Downers Grove office, Dr. Webster's sole objective is to provide exceptional results with a gentle touch, and she can recommend the appropriate course of treatment for each individual, whether it be dental veneers, tooth whitening, or dentures.

Cosmetic dentist Barbara Webster, DDS, is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Downers Grove Rotary Club. Dr. Webster is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Webster is also on the Board of Directors of The Diveheart Foundation, a non-profit tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) national organization. The purpose of Diveheart is to provide and support educational SCUBA diving and snorkeling experience programs that are open to any physically impaired child or adult in the hope of providing both physical and psychological therapeutic value to that person.

Dr. Webster and her husband are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy sharing their love of hiking, biking and camping with their three daughters.
